Why Milani Braiding School

Milani Braiding School is a specialized training academy focused on teaching high-quality ethnic hair braiding techniques which includes classic box-braids, cornrow designs, knotless braids, twisted braids and faux locs. Our program combines practical hands-on training with essential business education that equips students with the skills to build successful and sustainable careers in the ethnic hair industry.

Founded by Mbali Ntuli in 2025 who is also the founder of Milani Hair Studio and Milani Professional Haircare, the school is built on a personal philosophy of doing everything with excellence.

The school is born from the standard and experience of Milani Hair Studio, a salon rooted in a legacy of quality, creativity & cultural heritage. The school was created to extend the Milani standard beyond the salon chair and into the development of future talent.
